When to Convert PNG to JPEG
PNG files are often excessively large when used for photos, product images, or complex digital illustrations. By converting them to JPEG, you replace lossless storage with optimized frequency quantization, resulting in files that look virtually identical but occupy a fraction of disk space.
For websites, emails, and online submissions with strict upload limits (e.g. government portals or job applications), converting to JPG is the fastest way to comply with size constraints.
